Operation Feed A Need
To glorify God and show love for our All Saints family by providing meals to parishioners in times of need.
"…Feed me with food convenient for me." --Proverbs 308B KJV
WHOM DO WE SERVE?
Operation Feed A Need (F.A.N.) serves individuals and families during times of crisis, after the birth of a baby, or after hospitalization or illness, etc. It is an excellent way to meet and care for other people from our All Saints parish family and make a difference in their life.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The F.A.N. Coordinator is made aware of a need, either through a direct request for help or through a referral. The coordinator will schedule the details. Volunteers are then asked to sign up to provide a meal (home-cooked or purchased) and to deliver it to the recipient. We provide meals for two weeks, every other night. Sometimes we will provide more, sometimes less, depending on need. All coordination is done by email, telephone or on Facebook.
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
To ensure a successful operation, the F.A.N. ministry needs willing volunteers who can prepare or purchase a meal and deliver it. Please note, however, that you do not have to be able to do both in order to help. (1 Corinthians 12:28)
If you can:
- Order Take Out/Delivery
- Purchase a Frozen Meal
…We can use your help.
