Audio from Holy Communion: "Ave verum," April 11, 2015

Here is some audio of the Choir's gorgeous worship during Dcn. Barry's recent ordination service.  This is one of the Communion anthems, "Ave verum corpus," by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. While hymns are sung with the congregation's direct participation, anthems are typically sung by the choir alone to foster contemplation and prayer.  In this case, the anthem is sung during the distribution of Holy Communion. In fact, you can hear some of the ministers' (including our new deacon's) words of distribution in the background!

Many thanks to our Choir Director and Organist, Francis Elborne, and his amazing choir for what they do at All Saints! And many thanks to Steve McCullough for providing the recording!
